What events are being held?
We’re hosting three major community events as part of our revitalization and outreach effort: Car & Bike Show: A showcase of classic cars, custom bikes, and local talent. 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament: A friendly community competition promoting teamwork and wellness. Talent Show: A live and streamed event featuring Montgomery’s best musicians, dancers, poets, and performers—with a People’s Choice winner receiving a free professional music video shoot!
Who can participate?
All ages are welcome! The 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament includes youth (ages 12–17) and adult (18+) divisions. The Talent Show is open to solo or group artists—singers, dancers, comedians, spoken word artists, and musicians. The Car & Bike Show welcomes both amateur and professional vehicle owners.
How do I register?
You can register online using the Event Registration Form on our website or in person at the Connecting Life Center. Registration links will be listed under each event page. Spots are limited, so early registration is encouraged!

Will food and refreshments be available?
Yes! Local vendors and community partners will be providing delicious food and refreshments for purchase. Complimentary water and light snacks will also be available for registered participants and volunteers.
What should I bring?
Car & Bike Show: Clean, ready-to-display vehicle (arrive early for setup). Basketball Tournament: Athletic shoes, team uniforms (if available), and positive energy. Talent Show: Bring your own instruments, props, music tracks, or USB backup for your performance.
Can I volunteer to help?

How will the Talent Show “People’s Choice” selection work?
During the show, both in-person attendees and live-stream viewers can vote for their favorite performance online. The performer with the most audience votes will win a free professional music video shoot courtesy of GrindWorks Media and community partners.
Will the events be livestreamed or recorded?
Yes—all events will be livestreamed and made available as video-on-demand on the Connecting Life Center’s website and social media pages. This allows the entire community to participate and celebrate even if they can’t attend in person.
Where do proceeds and donations go?
All funds raised will directly support the revitalization of the Connecting Life Center building—including repairing electrical systems, replacing windows, and restoring safe facilities for mentorship, youth activities, and family programs.
What is the purpose of these events?
Our goal is to revitalize the Connecting Life Center and strengthen community connection. These events raise awareness, foster unity, and celebrate local talent while helping fund essential renovations and programs for youth, veterans, and families.
